Form 1

Form 1

A singular representation of form in the process of evolution, the rarity of this Paraiba derives from the coincidence of its proximity to copper and manganese traces in the ancient pegmatite landscape of Brazil. Cradled in its maternal quartz matrix, the unique central stone emits its raw potential through intense color saturation and luminosity. Fifty polished 0.85 carat Paraíba are set alongside 28 Brilliant-cut and two rose-cut diamonds, releasing a brilliance that frames the central stone in an invocation of the soul’s divine promise. This piece represents a powerful expression of self-realization through form.

Designer’s note

Brazilian Paraiba was used for the central stone of this piece because of its ability to bring the wearer closer to the miracle of transformation through form. Paraiba is a highly unique elbaite tourmaline gemstone formed through a complex combination of geological processes involving the interaction of certain elements and conditions over hundreds of millions of years. Its neon blue is both extremely rare and much coveted. Crucially, Paraiba’s coloring is attributable to the coexistence of copper and manganese trace elements that have interacted with the crystal’s chemical composition during formation. With copper determining intensity and saturation of color, and manganese influencing shade and tone, the naturally vibrant and saturated hues of the stones used for this piece suggest a particularly high copper concentration.
